Ive set up a tarp this way, it works... logs buried in the sand are more secure. And I dont see the need for a specially designed tarp, any tarp can be set up that way.

I’m not sure using kayaks as tent stakes is a great idea.
I can see a fair amount of wind dragging the kayaks across the ground to some degree
