Hi Tony,

Thanks for the information.

For those of us interested in supporting Team QUSA but not able to make the trip, we'd like to purchase a team jacket and/or other apparel or merch.

I saw an initial design team jacket on a recent Dubcast but nothing recent. Do you by chance have any updates on the jackets, etc.?

Best regards,

Tony Pascuzzi
Qajaq TC

We’re excited to announce that Team Qajaq USA will be traveling to Greenland this July to compete in Qaannamik Unammersuarneq 2026, the Greenland National Kayaking Championships.

Our team of seven paddlers includes:

• Erin Sunseri

• Andy Thon

• Jon Raybuck

• Joshua Steinfeld

• Katya Palladina

• Andrew Elizaga

• with coaching and leadership from Dubside

Team jackets have officially been released to members, and preparations are well underway. We’re also organizing a fundraiser to support the team, which will include exclusive merch—details coming soon.

To get to know the team, tune in to the next episode of The Dubcast with Dubside this Saturday, March 28, where we’ll be introducing some of the paddlers and sharing more about the journey ahead.

Thank you to the Qajaq USA community for your continued support—we’re proud to represent you in Greenland.

Andrew - Will there be more Qajaq USA branded merch that's not specific to the event? I certainly want to support the team via getting some Qajaq USA merch but feel conflicted buying stuff branded for a specific event I will not go to/compete in.

I saw the stocking hats but hope there's more generic Qajaq USA merch coming that a percentage of the proceeds goes to supporting the team.

Hi Scott, We weren't planning on more Qajaq USA merch at this time, but if there is enough interest, maybe we can work something out. Anything with the Qajaq USA logo has to be approved by the board. Here is a question for everyone: what kind of merch would you like to see available?

I would be interested in t-shirts, fleeces and hats
Paul

I agree with Paul on the t-shirts, hats, and fleeces. I absolutely would love a sweatshirt and bumper sticker as well.

For my kayaking club in Wisconsin (Northeast Wisconsin Paddlers), we use Squad Locker with pre-selected apparel we think people will like so we don’t need to maintain an inventory. Members will buy direct from the site with our pre-approved club logo. The only downfall with them is there’s not many good hat options that are breathable enough for on-the-water use.

With more merch, not only can members get some great Qajaq USA branded apparel but it can certainly help with marketing the club and growing the membership if people wear some Qajaq USA apparel on the water / have a Qajaq USA sticker on their car/kayak. It’s been a great conversation starter for our (NEWP) club when out on the water.

I'm in !!!

Hi All,

Yes, the board and events committee are looking into options to create some new merch options. We are considering limited runs available at our events and fulfillment center options.

Peter how to opt out of all the Greenland merch discussions?
