Commercial Greenland kayaks on a budget
Author Last Post

I’m in WI. Appreciate the insight but it’s important for me to see how I fit into the kayak before buying

Robert - Sent you an email. I travel to MKE frequently for work.

NDK Greenlander Pro on Marketplace in Wildwood, FL for $650. It’s been up for months so maybe they’re negotiable on price.

Where are you? You could use the Kayak Shipping Made Easy group on Facebook to help get anything you buy to your location.

Scott. I have a Valley Q Boat which is a larger volume Greenland qajaq with a low back deck which makes it easy to roll. If you’re interested, contact me directly for pictures, specs, etc. I am located in Milwaukee, WI.

There is an Arctic Hawk Pro (long cockpit) in Hastings Michigan. $750. On Facebook Marketplace.

Hi,

I'm wanting to find a commercial Greenland or Greenland-style kayak but constrained on budget (building my own is not a risk and effort I'm willing to take). Rotomolded or used composite boats would be more in my price range in the WI/MN/UP area.

The "fit" in the boat is also a concern because a high-volume P&H Cetus was snug but the 23" beam of my boat fits well.

That said, my current boat is a Current Designs Sirocco which rolls pretty well with the exception of having a very high back deck. It makes things like a balance brace really difficult to achieve.

Open to suggestions.

*For context, I've been looking at P&H Scorpio and Boreal Designs Baffin P3 as potential options.
